It's been six months since the mysterious Exqiveritem cult ripped open a gateway between our world and the chaotic thirteenth dimension known as Domhamsegye; home of the long thought dead Fomorian race. Instantly and with unthinkable speed the Fomorians began to spread across the globe like a rampant disease, poisoning Earthly vegetation, overtaking landscapes and destroying architecture, infecting humans, enslaving Otherworld beings and killing anything that stood in its way. Now Fomorian creatures of every kind walk the streets, leaving some survivors huddled in fear for survival, while the more amoral and opportunistic live like kings in their monstrous shadows.
Aela, Enora and Brietta are now in hiding in South America to protect Addison, who still seems to be a person of interest to the entire Fomorian race, while Kiani and Cinnia have been missing since the battle at Edgegate. But when Addison starts suffering from intense migraines and visions of what the Fomorian infected humans from Edgegate might be up to, the fairies hatch a plan to get to the bottom of it, hoping in the process they may find answers to better understand what's happening to their world. Meanwhile across the Atlantic, a dark presence is rising, the still yet to surface leader of the Fomorians, the malevolent and powerful god known as Balor.
